A costomer T. Suseela who had lost her domestic cylder. When her husband who drives an auto for their daily living approached the local IOC agency M/s. Arjuna Gas Agency for a replacement. The employee at the agency have advised him to give a complaint and get a non-traceable certificate from the loacl Police and come with rs.1500/-as cash.
A week later when approached the agency with the certificate and Rs.1500.00 the customer was shocked when the agency people demamnded Rs.500.00 extra for the replacement. When the custoemr asked for the details he was harassed and sent back without even receiving the documents.
The customer filed a complaint with the South Indian Consumer Rights Protection Council a copnsumer forum which took the case in the inters of Public.
The representatives of the forum were also harassed and the Area Manager Ms. Videhi abused the forum members over phone and also refused to give any order copies or relevant documents to substantiate the extra claim.
Even the DD sent along with the documents to IOC's Chennai Area Office at 500, anna salai is also missing and could not be found till date.
