China: Box Office Income Reached 1.5$ Billion

Cameron takes China to a new dimension

In China the Box office income reached to 1.5$ Billion (10 Billion Chinese Yuan), its almost 64% higher against the previous years.

Hollywood Block Buster "Avatar" earned more than 0.20$ Billion and still on top and the Chinese Block Buster "Aftershock" earned a total of 0.1$ Billion. Chinese National film Beureu said that we must improve the quality of our own films and media till now the best films we have are the copy of other films, 10 Billion Yuan income is still a low income for China and dose not reflect the economic Powers.

The 1.5$billion income of China is still far behind the total income of Motion Pictures Association of US who earned 10.5$Billion in 2009.

There were more then 300 new theaters opened last year in China.
