UN Security Force Guards An Unusual Israel-Syria Wedding (Photos)

An unusual wedding happened when the 26-year-old Syrian bride Samar Salman al-Khayal donning a flowing white dress had to cross the Syrian-Israeli checkpoint at al-Quneitra before she could marry her fiance Nabih Farhat, an Israeli Druze who lives in the Golan Heights.

Security forces was so tight with U.N Peace security force that will accompany them and their family across the buffer zone when Kayal was allowed to cross over into Israel to get married and live with Farhat, who has been waiting for several years to receive approval for his fiance's immigration for the neighboring country.
