Harbin, China: Winter Wonderland and City of Ice Opens to Visitors

While North America and Europe have been delivered more than their fair share of winter snowstorms closing airports and cancelling flights leaving travellers stranded for days, Harbin, China is putting their snow and ice to good use. Enormous ice sculptures have been designed in the shapes of trees, monuments, buildings, and even a large slide mixed with a variety of colorful lights the attraction has visitors claiming it is a sight equal or better to Disney World.

Thank you everyone for your comments. China has certainly been filling the headlines with accomplishment after accomplishment and this to me looks like a masterpiece.
