In an Austrian psychiatric hospital discovered the graves of 220 people buried during the Nazi era.

The remains were found when excavating in the courtyard of a hospital in Hall in Tyrol province, as part of a construction project.

The works are being held while an investigation takes place.

It is feared that those buried are invalid killed under the program of the Nazi euthanasia.

Tens of thousands of people with some type of physical or psychological disability were killed by the Third Reich. Some 30,000 were found death in the hospital just Schloss Hartheim, near Linz, Austria.
