A Palestinian man plowed his bulldozer into a busy traffic intersection in Jerusalem today, killing 3 people before being shot by Israeli police. Israeli officials are labeling the incident a terrorist attack, though the perpetrator has no known affiliation with any terrorist organization.

The bulldozer flattened the hood of one car before slamming into multiple buses. Finally, an Israeli officer leapt onto the vehicle and killed the driver. The incident had the potential to be far more dangerous, however. The bulldozer was headed towards a busy marketplace where hundreds of pedestrian shoppers could have been killed by the rogue machine.
