It was New Years Day afternoon when I decided to go to the market to buy viand because we don’t have meat or any fish except hotdog in our refrigerator. I am living in Golden City in Sta. Rosa Laguna. Though my sister advice me not to used money on that day I still did because I am hungry of rice. What I did was gone to the market in Golden City where we usually bought goods like vegetables, meats and fish. There’s only one vendor selling fish “galunggong” so I bought 1 kilo worth P60. First I look at the fish I thought it was fresh because they still look good. While I was walking going home I can smell something but I just ignored it. When I arrived at home and start cleaning the fish my sister told me, “Your fish is smelly.” I continued cleaning the fish though I can really smell the same. She advice me to fried it only so I did. I preheat the fan and put cooking oil. What I have observed in the fish instead of frying it produced water and seems like I put water on it. The bad thing is that it really smells not good and I started to keep vomit every time I smell it. I stop cooking and put them back on the plastic bag and throw it on the garbage can where we usually throw leftovers. This was really unforgettable experienced. My brother –in –law’s Aunt told me it might have formalin on it.
The next morning I went back to the market but I wasn’t able to find the vendor where I bought the fish. I admitted that I have mistakes also but I hope they are not going to do that to others. It’s dangerous.
