Tiger Woods has yet again finished a calendar year as the top earner. Tiger Woods marked his name as the top earning golf player despite suffering cuts in pay amounting to $48 million following losing his swing, his matrimonial life and failure to triumph even a single tournament.

Reports suggest that Tiger Woods earned $74.2 million in 2010 calendar year and has marked his name at the top of the annual list of Golf Digest. Out of Tiger Woods’ earnings of $74.2 million, he earned $2.29 million from tournament purses and the rest of the money from endorsements and appearances.

Phil Mickelson followed Tiger Woods with earnings of $40.18 million and is listed at number two on the list. Arnold Palmer made $36 million and came third on the list, while Greg Norman was listed at number four with earnings of $30 million.

It should be noted that in 2009, Tiger Woods topped the list with the huge amount of $121.9 million. The earnings of Tiger Woods fell after his sex scandal.

Tiger Woods consumed much of 2010 fruitlessly making efforts to fix his married life and also enduring the 4th swing transformation of his career.

Tiger Woods’ plights made AT&T and Accenture to stop sponsorship arrangements with him. This cost $35 million in yearly revenue to Tiger Woods.
