Heath Ledger's role as the Joker in the upcoming Batman film, 'The Dark Knight', has already begun to receive nomination nods. Ledger, who died of an overdose following the filming of The Dark Night, would be the second to receive a posthumous award should he win. The only actor in history to receive such an award was Peter Finch, for his role in Network.
