An earthquake which measured magnitude 5.1 in rector scale hit Puerto Rico on Friday. Fortunately there are not any immediate reports saying any damage or injury.
According to U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at 7:43 pm (23:43:44 UTC), in a depth of 63.9 miles and stuck about 15 miles (25 kilometers) South San Juan. It lasted for about 30 seconds and felt horrible. People get scared and now recovering from the shock.
The affected areas are San Juan, Fajardo, Ponce and Charlotte Amalie, US Virgin Islands. Now the condition there is becoming quite normal. International airport San Juan is open and operating normally.
