Suicide Bomber Kills 12

An earthquake in southeastern Iran so far left seven dead and hundreds injured and destroyed several villages in the province of Kerman.

"Perhaps a greater number of casualties due to the large scale of the damage, " said the governor of that province, Esmail Najjar.

The quake had a magnitude of 6.5 degrees and its epicenter was located near the city of Bam, which was devastated by an earthquake in 2003, which took a toll of 26,000 dead.

The quake was also felt in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan, which borders Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Very tragic. I remember several years ago that Iran had a big quake also during Christmastime. May they rest in peace. Rated up!
