Susan Kaye Wilson, who was an immigrant from the UK and now resides in Jerusalem-area community, had told police that she and U.S. tourist friend Christine Logan were assaulted by two Arab men, while they were hiking at Khirbet Hanut, an archaeological site near Beit Shemesh.
According to Wilson's statement, she pretended to be dead to escape from the attack and then managed to reach the road, but Christine Logan didn't. After talking to investigators, Susan Kaye was taken to Hadassah University Hospital, where her condition was reportedly stable.
The body of Christine Logan, who disappeared on Saturday, was found and identified by police early Sunday. The main focus of the investigation for the death of Christine Logan is to find the circumstances of the incident, which is suspected as a terror attack.
Shortly after the attack, security forces had launched a massive manhunt for Christine Logan and her attackers. Later, the investigators also went to Hadassah Hospital to collect additional details regarding the incident and the missing Christine Logan from injured Susan Kaye Wilson.
