In Longmont,Colorado 12-19-2010...

A Pro-rated woman skydiver,38, was practicing a parachute-maneuver called "swooping has crashed landed into Earth!

"Swooping" is a parachuting activity that is performed at a low-level of altitude.

The parachute-maneuver requires the parachutist to descend to a low-level of altitude that allows the parachutist to skim the top of the ground with their shoes as they land!

Unfortunately for the 38-year old woman from Englewood,Colorado...she came in to fast and close to the ground and crashed into Earth at a speed of about 60-90 miles per hour!

The landing was bad as well as ugly!

The woman whose name has not been disclosed is now in critical condition in the ICU unit and is on life support!

Life is to be lived...To its Fullest...

But when it comes to living Life...

Common sense and respect for the elements always come first!

THINK BEFORE YOU LEAP!

sincerely...RonDon...peace.

The ground was meeting her faster than she estimated. There is no reason to hit the ground at those speeds. To hit that 60-90 mph, she had to have totally collapsed her parachute or was moving with the wind, which had to be at least 40mph. The chute has a forward speed of about 18 mph. Something seems out of whack here.
