New Details on Harvard Hoax

24-year-old Adam Wheeler from Delaware pleaded guilty to larceny, identity fraud and other charges for getting into Harvard through conning.

Adam Wheeler is also ordered to repay the college nearly $46,000. For all the financial aid, scholarship money and academic awards that Adam Wheeler achieved, he will have to pay restitution.

Adam Wheeler has been sentenced to 10 years in probation in which he will be prohibited from having any contact with Harvard or its professors. Also, Adam Wheeler cannot claim that he attended or graduated from Harvard.

Adam Wheeler has left a long trail of deception starting from how he got enrolled into Harvard by falsely claiming that he had attended the exclusive Phillips Academy prep school in Andover and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Adam Wheeler also lied about books he had co-authored and courses he had taught to get the school’s endorsement for Rhodes and Fulbright scholarships. Adam Wheeler was thrown out of Harvard in 2009.
