Actor Shelley Malil was the prime suspect in the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend Kendre Beebe, and now that he has been convicted of the charge, he will be sent to life in prison.
Shelly Malil is best known for the role of an electronic store clerk in ‘The 40-Year-Old-Virgin’, and he had been charged with the crime back in September.
Shelley Malil was charged for attempted pre-meditated murder and assault with a deadly weapon and the jury deliberated for just four hours before passing on the verdict.
Shelley Malil is now eligible for parole in 12 years though it is being said that with the time he has already served and with good behavior, the time can be reduced to nine years.
