Hyderabad: A New Jersey based Brytas Equipment Corporation (BEC) has proposed to Andhra Pradesh state government, to construct a massive steel production unit along Vishakapatnman coastal area in Southern India, in a sprawling 800 acres of land over sea coast. BEC also proposed to state government to construct its own port for production and export of steel parts and equipment used in third generation nuclear power plants, Petrolium and Chemical Industries, Ship Building Units. And for the production of the same the BEC delegation also sought permission for construction of its own electrical power production unit for uninterrupted productions in the industry. BEC delegation has assured about one lakh employment opportunities for the local people in the proposed industrial units.
The Chief Minster of Andhra Pradesh Mr.N.Reddy has tentatively shown keen interest yesterday in the State Secretariat, on the BEC proposal, and necessary directions have been issued to Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Chief Mr.B.R.Meena to look into the proposals of the BEC.
