A criminal is not only failing to run valuables things while trying to break into a house, but accept consequences when breaking his left wrist slashed due to the owner.
Incident occurred at 3:30 am when the 28-year-old suspect tried to invade the home of a swimming fish farmers in the village of Pengkalan Gaduh, Limbongan nearby.
The incident was discovered, however, home owners and when the suspect tried to attack him with iron rods, home owner, 49-year-old man was involved with machete.
District police chief, Supt Kamaruddin Mohd. Zakaria told, before that the homeowner woke up and saw a person who tried to enter his house through a window.
He said, the man then went out of his house through the front door unnoticed by the careless use of a suspect iron to pry the window.
"In a state of shock, the suspect tried to deal with the landlord but he slashed with machetes by homeowners affected to his left hand.
"He comes from Setiu, Terengganu kept running away and leaving a broken wrist at the location," he told reporters here today.
According to Kamaruddin, owner of the house then made a police report about the incident.
He said, the wounded suspect fled to rent chalets with a woman aged 15 years, about 300 meters from the scene.
He said, police arrived to the location and found the suspect wrist not far from where the suspect slashed.
He said, the investigation and assistance from the public, the suspect was finally found in the chalets are in a state of pain and blood stained.
"We contact the Hospital Besut and bring the suspect with a broken wrist for treatment before being rushed to the Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (HUSM) Kubang Kerian, for further treatment," he said.
He said, based on initial investigation found the suspects had no previous criminal record, but the advanced search still continues.
