It's been a crazy year for British born singer Joss Stone.

Stone was pictured yesterday strolling down the beach, gathering some shells and paddling in the waves.

Later, ongoing her theme of entertainment, Stone lazed in a hammock, reading a book.

The singer turned actress looked beautiful in a little black and white pint bikini, her long chestnut colored hair fanning out around her shoulders.

It looks like 2010 has been a less demanding year than the earlier one.

Stone was involved all through the first half of 2009 in a long and bitter legal battle in her bid to get free of her recording contract with record label EMI.

She ended up settling with them in June for a reported £2million, after claiming she had 'no working relationship' with the label.

Once free of her contract she re-released the album in the U.S. in April of this year, this time with the original cover, two new tracks and it was also made obtainable to other retailers than iTunes and Target.
