Portsmouth MP Mike Hancock has denied all the allegations against his aide, Katia Zatuliveter, insisting that she is not a Russian spy. According to MI5, Katia Zatuliveter, who works for Liberal Democrat Mike Hancock, was secretly involved with Moscow's intelligence service as a "sleeper".
It has been reported that the Home Secretary has approved the deportation of 25-year-old Katia Zatuliveter after he was informed regarding her alleged activities. It is also being speculated that the deported Katia Zatuliveter was intentionally targeting 64-year-old Mr. Hancock, who has a strong interest in Russia.
However, Mr. Hancock, who is a member of the House of Commons Defense Select Committee, denied all the allegations against his assistant, Katia Zatuliveter, and stated that she is not a Russian spy and Katia Zatuliveter doesn't deserve to be subjected to a deportation order.
Katia Zatuliveter is associated with Mr. Hancock since they met in Strasbourg, where he often travels to for business purposes. Mr. Hancock also stated that Katia Zatuliveter is appealing the deportation decision because she has done nothing wrong.
