The family feud between Vijayakumar-Manjula and their estranged daughter Vanitha turned uglier with Vanitha disclosing some dark secrets about the family.

She said during a press meet that the entire family is involved in distressful activities, which cannot be mentioned in the public.

According to Vanitha, she moved out her family home at the age of 16 unable to bear torture at her home.

Vanitha recalled an incident wherein Santha Kumar, a former production manager, had allegedly committed suicide by setting his house on fire. She claimed that Kumar had been in love with her half-sister Kavitha and when her father Vijayakumar came to know about this he was in total anger and there was a fight in this regard.

The actress told that all this happened in US after they moved to the country at the age of 5 citing non availability of movies and chances.

"Then who set fire to his house? Who converted this incident of killing into a case of suicide? Ask Vijayakumar about this," she told.

Vanitha added that her mother Manjula was turned into an alcoholic by her father to get hold of her property and now Manjula cannot stand in her own legs for more than 10 minutes.
