Water vapour and Thick layer of clouds found in alien Super Earth

Now this bit of extraterrestrial news will cheer us out from our routine mundane life. Scientists have discovered either water vapour or a thick haze that covers the so-called Super Earth that suggests that the Planet has an icy or rocky composition and may be similar to Neptune.

The exo- planet GJ1214b orbits a star and it is at a distance of 40 light years from Earth in the constellation of Ophiuchus. The researchers are trying to get the main component of this planet’s atmosphere. This planet is called Super Earth because it is larger than our home planet but smaller than Jupiter and Saturn and it was first discovered in 2009.

The astronomers have concluded that the alien planet’s world is most likely dominated by water vapour or blanketed by a haze of clouds that is blocking other chemicals underneath. The scientists say that the planet has no potential for habitation of life forms even though it has a puffy atmosphere or a cloud atmosphere.

Astronomers have discovered more than 500 alien planets so far beyond our solar system and if we allow our imagination to fly won’t we wish for an alien life form at least in any one planet?
