The filmmaker of the movie sequel STAR WARS " THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK" died at 87.

Irvin Kershner, with his 40 years in film and television contributed a lot to the industry, his masterpiece were THE LUCK OF GINGER COFFEY, A FINE MADNESS, THE FLIM-FLAM MAN, LOVING, UP THE SANDBOX, RETURN OF MAN CALLED HORSE, EYES OF LAURA MARS and NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN.

He is a man with great and wild imaginations, putting it on papers and to his work made him one the best filmmaker. He dedicated his time to make the industry respected. His heart, mind and soul produce a piece of work that can never be forgotten.

He died in a 3 and a half year battle to lung cancer. Irvin Kershner, your memories will remain, rest in peace.
