A new island measuring approximately 90 feet high and 3 kilometers wide has emerged at Hangul, a coast of Baluchistan province of Pakistan.

As reported by a spokesperson of fisherfolk on Friday, fishermen boarding about 100 boats were busy in fishing at Hangul when suddenly the island emerged, due to which all the boats have been trapped. The trapped fishermen are awaiting the aid form the government.

The spokesperson added that some 12 years ago an island did emerge at the same spot but it went under water after 4 months.
