A second Virginia teen has been missing for more than 2 months, 19-year-old Samantha Clarke. Samantha went missing on the night of September 13, 2010. After telling her younger brother she would see him in the morning, Clarke got her keys and headed out for the night.
The worried mother, Barbara Tinder, wonders everyday if she will see her daughter again. The family reported her missing, but have not gotten much help from the media for outsiders to give information if they may have any. The police did search the immediate area of the Tinder home, since it is a densley wooded area. However, they did not go much further than that.
After the huge case and attention brought on by the Morgan Harrington case, you would think this would be a high priority. That has not been in the cards. The Harrington family has reached out to help the Tinder family to find their daughter. Although Morgan's body was found the killer has not. The Harrington admits their are "MANY" similarities in the case that need to be taken into consideration.
The exposure for helping Barbara find Samantha is very important, this could mean someone who knows something could lead authorities to find her. The Orange County's and the State Police have not taken lead over the investigation because a "high profile" involved party has not asked them to.
If anyone has any information on the whereabouts or links that could lead to finding Samantha Ann Clarke, please contact your local police department. Information can also be called to the Virginia State Police as well as the Orange Police Cheif.
If the Today Show can air the missing Morgan Harrington, they should do the same for the family of Samantha Clarke. The case that they are similar in age, went missing not that far from each other, and they are both somebody's daughter, should be enough for this family to get some help in finding their loved one.
