US-South Korea Begin Military Drills

The US aircraft carrier USS George Washington sailed towards the volatile waters of Korean peninsula on Wednesday. The move is likely to enrage North Korea and unsettle its ally, China.

The USS George Washington carries 75 warplanes and crew over 6,000, left the naval base of Tokyo. It would joined the planned military exercises with South Korea in a show of forcewith South Korea from Sunday to the following Wednesday, according to US official.

Earlier ,Tuesday , North Korea fired at least 100 artillery shells on a South Korean island and the Korean region is on the edge of war.
