Tallahassee, FLA: The story is becoming all too familiar in the US. Domestic violence ending in the murder of innocent children. Add Florida to the recent list of tragedies. Last night it was reported that an adult and three children were murdered in the suburban home. This morning more evidence has been released.
Autopsies were being performed Sunday on the bodies of a young, single, stay-at-home mother, her children 6 year-old-twin girls and a 3 year-old-son. The names of the family have not yet been released to the public. The home of the family is in a quiet suburban area just miles from the state capital. A new subdivision that has not yet seen the likes of such destructive behavior until now.
Tallahassee police spokesman David McCranie calls the scene on of extreme violence. He reported to the press that autopsies are being done this morning and authorities are working diligently to find out who would have wanted to harm the family. There had been an increase in police surveillance in the new sub-division due to an increase in burglaries in the area.
The bodies were found after police received a suspicious call at 10:15 am, Saturday. Dennis Williams, identified as the half-brother of the slain woman said the mother was 28. He stated that the two were not close, but valued her focus on the children. Neighbor Cedrica Smith offered that her children played with the twins. She also stated that the boy had a different father than the girls.
