Four people, including three children were found dead in a home in northwest Florida. The family was found in their home. The Florida medical examiner is investigating the deaths of the four; but has stated that the case is probably homicide. Tallahassee police spokesman David McCrane stated that the home was a possible site of domestic violence.
“There's obvious violence in the home," said McCrane. "How that violence transpired, we're not sure." The two children were said to be 6 years-old and 3 years-old. It was stated to a reporter that the two were girls by a neighbor. The neighbor referred to “those little girls” when interviewed by the press.
The relation between the children and the adult is not yet known. The identities have not been released pending further investigation and notification of the families involved. The sex of the third child has not been released. The bodies were found in a “typical suburban Tallahassee neighborhood” built within the past five years, stated McCrane.
“I really don't believe it," neighbor Darius Mount told CNN affiliate WTXL, "that I'm not going to see those little girls running around, up and down the street anymore." The neighborhood is in shock. Officials and autopsies will reveal more of the incident and the persons involved.
