Amiran Kenya, the largest Agricultural “one stop shop” in East Africa and one of the major driving forces behind the creation and success of Kenya’s world class flower sector, in collaboration with Azrom Metal Industries, Israeli global leader in design and supply of greenhouses around the world has launched a new and improved Green House model.

The Coral “11200” intended to take greenhouse based agriculture in the floriculture and horticulture sectors to a new level in terms of technology. The launch at Sian Maasai Farm in Kitengela , was attended by Amiran Managing Director, Pinhas Moskovich, Amiran Senior Management and Staff and leaders of the floriculture and horticulture sectors, was.

Amiran Kenya, the leading supplier of most Kenya’s quality inputs required by the two sectors, which comprise large part of the country’s leading agriculture industry. It was the first company to bring Greenhouse technology to Kenya in the late 1980’s and has to date erected close to 90 percent, some 2700 hectares of 3000 hectares in Kenya today.

The Coral “11200”, which has an 11.2 meter span, is a tailor made green house that suits the needs of all large scale growers. It has the highest quality hot dip galvanized steel, suitable for all weather conditions, with the option of appropriate alternatives to suit unusual climates or individual requirements. The new greenhouse, which is a modular structure that can easily be dismantled and transferred from location to location, comes together with Amiran’s renowned after sales service, together with expert technical engineers and agronomists support.

“This green house model is what every large scale grower needs to attain maximum production. It has been especially designed to ensure the growers get higher yields”, said Dor Moran, Amiran’s Head of Agro Projects Division, during the launch of the new product. The green house designed for extra yields has extra ventilation for improved air exchange and more light transmission causing increased solar radiation.

The Coral “11200” is also brings extra sturdiness due to its high design efficiency and saves money for the grower thanks to its high operational efficiency. “Amiran continues to provide effective solutions to the day to day challenges in the agricultural sector”, said Pinhas Moscovich, Amiran’s Managing Director. “This new green house model is the way to go and will be a great boost to the floriculture and horticulture sectors.

Additionally “The Coral 11200” are easy to operate ,allows for planting of a variety of crops, it is strong enough to withstand extreme local climate conditions (wind, snow, hail) and strong enough to support the load of internal service systems and plant foliage, minimum shading ,maximum longevity and easy to service, cover and recover with clouding material. “We are proud to be associated with Amiran and we appreciate all their efforts, as they are truly transforming the face of the horticulture industry in Kenya,” said Mr. Pardeep, the Managing Director of Windsor Flowers, who attended the launch.
