Tesco, a major Supermarket in the UK, has decided to offer something crazily unique this year, especially for Christmas, it will be 'half a Christmas Tree'.
Apparently being sold as something useful to people with little space in their homes!
Much to the bemusement of early Christmas shoppers, the half Christmas Trees, were launched on sale in their nationwide UK branches.
But, when the publicity brought many curious shoppers in to see this crazy new Christmas product, Tesco decided to extend the range....
They are now offering not just half a Christmas Tree, but things like:
Half a Christmas Wreath, for people with half width doors on their houses
Half Christmas lights, on half the length of normal Christmas lights wire, for people who are into being eco friendly, and don't mind getting electric shocks, when handling them, in order to wrap them round their half a Christmas Tree.
Half Christmas Baubles, for use on the half a Christmas Tree.
Half a Christmas cracker, for those who like to play Scrooge.
Half a Christmas dinner plate, to serve their new half a Christmas Turkey on.
You can even buy half a Christmas pudding too, with half a bowl, and half a spoon, to eat it with!
Half a sprout
Half a potato
Half a sausage
Half a jar of Cranberry sauce, but you need to take it home in a plastic bag, as it tends to leak with juice, in your half a shopping bag.
Half a Christmas candle, for half a Christmas dining table, also now sold in Tesco complete with half a chair to sit on, and great for those who only need half the amount of light to see what they are eating in.
Half an angel for the top of the half a Christmas tree
Half a knife and half a fork, to use with the half a dinner plate, and half a champagne glass, also on sale in, the new half sized Tesco stores.
You can even buy half a Christmas present, and half a sheet of wrapping paper, and half a bow, if you want to push the boat out, and buy the full range of the new Tesco 'doing it buy half range'.
The chief executive of Tesco, Sir Terror Half-a-Leekie, said:
"We don't normally believe in doing things by half, but we thought we would try this year, and see if we lose half of our customers as a result, we like to experiment"!
Marks and Spencer, also known as M&S, are now considering trying to compete with Tesco, by offering a similar range, in either their Marks stores or their Spencer Stores, so that you can chose if you like what Mr Marks sells, or what Mr Spencer sells.
You could even opt for buying half from Mr Marks, and the other half from Mr Spencer, giving M&S the edge over Tesco, who only offer one shop to shop in, albeit half the size of a normal store.
The Co-operative supermarket, are going to be less co-operative, and offer just full Christmas Trees or nothing at all.
Whilst 'Waitrose', are looking into making people 'wait' until they decide what to offer, nearer the time, but if they start a range customers will apparently get to buy off Mr John or Mr Lewis, to compete with Mr Marks and Mr Spencer.
The innovative half a Christmas idea, of Tesco will enable people, who are schizophrenic, to decide which half of themselves will celebrate Christmas, and which half will do without this year.
It is thought that the bright spark who designed the half a Christmas range for Tesco, is also a schizophrenic and likes to do things by halves.
Tesco recommend that you only invite half of the family to your Christmas table, if you opt for buying their new half a Christmas range, and have stated this on all packaging, relating to this new range.
Most people who have already started to buy the new 'half of' range from Tesco, have told us that they will have Christmas dinner at half past two this year, instead of two o'clock, just to stay in the swing of having half a Christmas.
Tesco tell us that the new range, is already popular with customers, who have only one leg or one arm, and that these people have made a dash into their stores, to snap up the new half of range, before it sells out.
They like the fact that you can by the right side of a plate, or the left side of a plate, which is ideal for them, with only a right arm or a left or a right leg or a left leg.
The new range is popular with people born under the Zodiac sign of Gemini too, not to mention twins, who buy half each.
Tesco are hoping to get half an award, for their new innovation, and for offering everyone half a Christmas.
The question is, will you opt for half a Christmas, or a full one?!
And which half of the Queen's speech will you listen to?!
More news later, watch this space, minus the other half of me!
