( Tales of wandering years) A new novel by "Intissar Abdulmonaem" , an Egyptian writer, was recently published in Cairo. –
Through an Egyptian family the novel reveals some problems that many people are suffering and trying to hide, such as; The problem of normalization , its supporters and attackers, through the intimate relationship between Natasha, Jewish , Ex. Belshoy dancer and Egyptian man who loved her and is persuaded to live with her in Israel taking advantage of the collapse of the checkpoint in Rafah to creep into Israel ,
Discrimination against women and male domination of the Arab societies through some of the events of the novel, which spread to Hurghada, Alexandria and Saudi Arabia , security violations and some real cases of torture, which turned into a recurrent phenomenon , severe economic crisis which focused wealth in the hands of a few members of the community only and left the rest suffers from poverty, disease, illegal immigration and exposure to the risk of death.
