Daron Richardson, the 14 year old daughter of Ottawa Senators’ assistant coach Luke Richardson, took her life at their family home in Canada. Ottawa Senators are grieving with the bereaved family.
The teenager daughter of Luke Richardson, Daron Richardson, tried to take her life by hanging in the basement of their home on Friday after an accident that was not revealed. Daron Richardson was found by her mother, Stephanie, in a critical condition and was taken to the hospital where she was kept in the intensive care unit but unfortunately, couldn’t wrestle her injuries. Daron Richardson’s organs were donated in accordance with the family’s wish. Daron Richardson was Luke’s youngest daughter.
Coach, Cory Clouston, couldn’t comment on the tragic incident when asked about Richardson. Ottawa Senators’ general manager, Bryan Murray, called Doran Richardson’s untimely death a “true tragedy”. Goalie Brian Elliot said “our thoughts and prayers” are with the Richardson family.
