YouTube said today that 35 hours of video are being uploaded to the video-sharing site every minute

Imagine that. You don't have enough time to watch it all.

The popular video-sharing site announced Thursday that for every minute, 35 hours of video are being uploaded to YouTube that makes 50,400 hours of video each day.

This is up from 24 hours per minute in March this year, and more than twice over the last two years.

A director of the company said that among the reasons for the surge was the increase in video time from 10 to 15 minutes, and increase of file size to two gigs.

It was also reported that more uploads come from mobile phones.

YouTube was sold to Google in 2006 for $1.6 billion.
