In Pakistan, the Sindh Assembly was informed that a plan is being prepared to conduct regular surveys of all wildlife species.

Provincial Minister for Wildlife, Dr. Daya Ram told the House that a plan for the protection and conservation of Indus Blind Dolphin has been approved which will cost about 92 million rupees.
