It was a long walk home for 15-year old teenager Josh Maday. He was riding a bike and was not wearing a helmet. The police stopped him and, as a punishment, deflated the tyres of the bike. Poor Josh had a 3-Km walk back home with his bike. His mother is mad at the police for such a harsh punishment but the police look at this as a better method of policing rather than slapping fines or issuing tickets. The mother should be glad that her boy did not meet with an accident and get injured for not wearing the headgear and be grateful to the police for this type of punishment. It would be a lesson for not only Josh, her boy, but also for other such daredevil teenagers.
