Abeer Almadawy

I recently read a novel called ""the embrace of thorns"" to Egyptian novelist named "Abeer Al-Madawy.

In fact, I've never recognized this name, despite my interest in the new Arabic literary personalities and their literature and the Spanish translations of the creative work of the Arab novels and stories and poetries.

But my friend Dima, and she is a Lebanon and lives with me, got a copy of the novel "the embrace of thorns" with its arabic version and read it in front of me.

From the first moment I realized that the novel has great human value and prints an important impact in the sense of a person, after reading it.

Though its heroines a lady from Egypt ,but she talks as if she was planted in Chile, USA, or say any country above this earth. She draws the spirit of a modern woman. Thus, the deeper in reading the novel , the more I realized the of value of its human creativity and the vision of its intellectual philosophy .

I felt that this novel belongs to the class of international works ,Works that can't end by its time , but lives as much human being live. for all sorry it is in arabic language up to this moment.

I can't hide that during my reading the novel , I stopped saying " is this woman from Chili? in fact I knew information about the case of the Arab women , different than the ugly picture , we used to believe in.

For this I wished to write about this novel " embrace of thorns" in my literary magazine where I work now and have already submitted an article attracted significant interest and I was able to get from the Egyptian Novelist Abeer Almadaway a meeting, will appear in the next article.

Also through information at her website and wikipedia , I could know that she is Novelist who has a history in writing novels, short stories as well novelita,And also as in Chili the women novelists and writers have less fame than the men, though they write in some areas more perfect. According to this, it tells me how the third world shares together all the symptoms of violence and discrimination against women and this is the idea that I got through the novel Embrace of the thorns to the Egyptian Novelist Abeer Almadawy who also pointed strongly to the weak condition at her country, so the heroine of the novel met all the violence and injustice from her people while she could to meet the true love just with a French poet , in a point what's difference the treatment of women inside the third world and out side it.
