The head of America's Anti-Defamation League has once again proven what a polarizing and self-destructive person he's become. Attacking an opinion-editorial in Wednesday's Jerusalem Post for promoting the idea that Jewish education is more important than promoting Jewish paranoia, the aging anti-racist vigilante proves that once again his priorities are all wrong, and that he ought to go immediately into retirement.
The reason: Abraham Foxman teaches American Jews that the only way to be properly Jewish is to be consumed by fear, and to live one's life according to such principles. Unfortunately, more Jews believe Foxman than not, because, like the anti-Semites he warns Jews against, Foxman continually strikes fear into the hearts of America's Jewish community. That, in itself, is an anti-Semitic act, worthy of the utmost condemnation.
Its not as though the ADL doesn't know Foxman is a problem. Poll most of it's employees, and they'll tell you that the man is more of a liability than he is of assistance to the organization. After denying the Armenian Holocaust last year (and then reversing his position under duress,) the aging warlord still doesn't get why he gives anti-anti-Semitism and bad name, and why in, the interests of American Jewry, he should shut the hell up.
