Order to pay $17,500 to former franchise manager has been given by a Brazilian court as a result of gaining 65 pounds while working there for several years. The Brazalian Judge fines McDonald's for engaging obese employee in Brazil. The obese man's identity was not released. According to the man who aged 32 in years, He was forced by McDonald to sample food products each day to ensure that quality standards remain high for McDonald's mystery clients. The man also says McDonald's offered free lunches to employees, adding to his caloric intake while on the job. The ruling against McDonald's was signed by Judge Joao Filho in Porto Alegre. McDonald's can plead the case if it wants.
