Say goodbye to RP and PI when referring to the Philippines.

According to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Website, the DFA and its Foreign Service Posts will use the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) intials PH or PHL when referring to the Philippines.

This change was in line with the country's membership to the ISO. It also avoids ambiguity with other countries, the Website says.

So for people like me who use RP (Republic of the Philippines) should not use it anymore.

Those who use PI (Philippine Islands) are discouraged also.
