Come November, President Barack Obama will visit India

Come November, President Barack Obama will visit India. President Barack Obama will also visit Indonesia, South Korea and Japan. His visit will be spread over nine days.

This is his first visit in India. India is the country of Mahatma Gandhi with whom President Obama has expressed his desire to dine. It is another thing how, or if at all, Gandhiji’s doctrine of non-violence has influenced Mr. President.

It is in the news that he will meet with the American industrial leaders who have business in India. Jeffrey Immelt of GE, Jim McNerney of Boeing Co, Indra Nooyi of Pepsico, Terry McGraw of McGraw Hill Companies and David Cote of Honeywell will spend a little time with President Barack Obama during his visit.

It is natural that the Indian software magnets (Infosys, Wipro, TCS and others for example) will want to meet him in the Indian soil. This is because of the fact that President Barack Obama has asked the industrialists of the USA to stop outsourcing in India. He has genuine concern for the American citizens who are jobless in their own country

President Barack Obama will visit India on 5th November, 2010. India is ready to receive him duly.
