"Samyag Gyan" which also spelled and pronounced as Samyag Jnyana on the seventh day of this nine days' festival.
Navpad Oli (Ayambil Oli) starts from October 14
This is Ashwin Shukla trayodashi, 13th day of full moon fortnight in the month of Ashwin in Indian lunar calendar, October 20, 2010.
Jainism gives lot of importance to Navpad and Navpad Oli.
Samyag Jnyana (Samyag Gyan):
Jnyana means knowledge. Hence the word Samyag Jnyana (Samyag Gyan) refers to right knowledge. This is also called wisdom. This is the seventh Pad of Siddhachakra and second of Dharma Tatva. It is depicted in the sacred scriptures that all actions should be preceded by right knowledge. One cannot discriminate between right and wrong without right knowledge.
