This is the fifth day of Navpad Oli (Ayambil Oli). Jain community worship

"Sadhu" which also means Muni on the fifth day of this nine days' festival.

This is Ashwin Shukla Ekadashi eleventh day of full moon fortnight in the month of Ashwin in Indian lunar calendar, October 18, 2010.

Jainism gives lot of importance to Navpad and Navpad Oli.

adhu: Sadhu is the fifth post in Navpad and placed in the left side of Arihant in Siddhachakra Yantra. He is the third among Guru Tatva. He has leaved house and renunciated. He has devoted himself to theholy path preached by Arihant and disciplined by Acharya. He devotes himself for the noble path that leads to salvation and practices four sacred virtues.

He has five supreme vows i.e. completely abstaining from 1. Violence 2. Lie 3. Stealing 4. Sexual conducts and 5. Possessions of earthly things......
