Wishes of Nissar Ahmed come true; he acquired martyrdom
Habibullah Bhat doesn’t believe that his son Nissar Ahmed who was killed by BSF on Monday, 13th September 2010,has acquired martyrdom during the ongoing movement for which he was praying for the whole Ramzan month.
Habibullah who was kissing the body of his son Nissar Ahmed killed by Border Security Foreces (BSF) personnel at Ajas when they opened direct fire on the peaceful protestors on Monday Morning. Nissar Ahmed, 22, was studying in 12th class and was looking for a small business of billing of mobile phones in Ajas locality was sent to market by the father to confirm the situation, as his father is tailor master.
Nissar was outside a Jamia Masjid Ajas gazing on the young protesters who were being beaten by BSF personal when they (YOUTHS) asked a convoy to wait till end of protest. He received a bullet in his abdomen and died on spot when BSF men directly fired on people. He was a peaceful persons and was always appealing people restrain peaces and patient during the protetst, concerned over the recent killing dying the ongoing movement he was always pray for the martyrdom in the same way, says his father while wailing. “I don’t believe that his prayers have been accepted by Almighty, let me see him on last time, He is my Martyr, Martyr of Kashmir how was always talking about youths of Kashmir how receives bullets on chest during the recent uprising” wails Bhat
Nissar was the second son in his family and was studying in 12th standard at Government Higher Secondary School Ajas. Due to abject poverty, he was recharging mobile phone after school timing and was helping his father in Tailoring also. “He was keen to die in during these days, he was always talking about the Kashmir youths and their killing by the Indian forces. I would have never sent him to market had I knew that he will not return,” his father said.
Nissar's Teacher Nazir Ahmed Malik was shocked when he come to know about the death of his student,Nissar prdicted his death days beofre infront of me said,Nazir Ahmed. “I wonder how Nissar know his way of death, he said me that he will die during the protest, I give him lift form Ajas to Sinagar and on the way I feel that he was deeply influenced by the ongoing killing of youth and he was praying for the same death while seeking freedom” “…. and he got the same” Nazir said. “Sir, pray for freedom, when sacrificed one our young blood for the same, pray for the freedom of victimized Kashmiri people” He said to me.
Neighbors and relatives throughout the day made a beeline to Nisars house. Expressing sympathies with the bereaved families, they said that forces were firing on them even without any protests. “It is better to protest against the Indian forces and their oppression. In both cases we have to die,” said a local resident. Nissar Ahmed was a peace loving, Shy and a well disciplined youth in our locality said Shakeel Ahmed another teacher of Nissar, said the locals.
The killing sparked massive protest demonstrations in the Sonwari Block of Bandipora district. A protest rally of more than 10,000 people took the body to the martyr’s graveyard chanting pro-freedom and anti-Government slogans. “We want freedom, go India go back,” they shouted. After Zuhar Prayers Nissar was laid to rest.
In Indian admisatrated Kashmir more than one lakh civilians have got killed duoirng the last thrityone years of freedom movemnt intiated during 1989 after the rigged elections of 1987.The movemnt got intensified duirg 2008 when Pro Indian governomnt got involved in tansfering forest land to a Hidu religious organistion-AmarnathShrine Baorad.In 2010 the movemnt took more ugly turn when a teenager coming out from tution calss was brutally killed by the Indain occupied forces in central city in adminstrataed Kashmir,during this time the valley was forced to remain in tight curfew resulting into the kiling of 111 youths who were peacefully protesting aginst the brutalities and tyrrany if Indian Occupied Forces.
