A court heard today how a gay saudi prince, Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud, beat his servant, Bandar Abdulaziz, to death in a London hotel room that they shared.
Th jury were told that severe bite marks on the cheeks of the victim showed that the attack had an "obvious sexual connotation".
The court was told that Mr Abdulaziz had been the prince's servant for some time and had accompanied him on many other journeys abroad.
Mr Abdulaziz was beaten and strangled to death in bed in room 312 of the Landmark Hotel on february 15 2010. He had severe injuries to his eye, lips, teeth, ears, brain, neck, back rib and stomach.
The prince denies the charges and claims to be heterosexual with a girlfriend back in Saudi Arabia but the police said:
"The evidence establishes quite conclusively that he is either gay or that he has homosexual tendencies."
