Hollywood actor Tony Curtis was buried yesterday in Henderson, Nevada. The public funeral service was attended by more than 400 celebrities, including California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, friends and family members as well as by fans of the actors. His coffin was dressed with the American flag.
Curtis died Wednesday last week at the age of 85. He is survived by daughters Jamie Lee Curtis, Kelly Curtis and Jamie's daughter Annie Guest, all present in the service. The service was followed by a burial, and a reception for 200 guests at the Luxor hotel. A montage of Curtis' film roles was also showned at the opening of the service.
Tony Curtis was buried with his favorite possessions, according to a report by PopEater. The actor was laid to rest with a Stetson hat, an Armani scarf, driving gloves, his iPhone and his favorite novel, Anthony Adverse.
Curtis was famous for his role in the The Defiant Ones and Some Like It Hot, where he starred opposite Marilyn Monroe and Jack Lemmon. He dies of cardiac arrest at his home in Henderson, outside of Las Vefas.
