Chennai: Aging hero Rajani Kant has once again turned on his charm with his latest flick, the much publicized and much awaited Robo. Its Tamil version Endhiran (Machine) was released on 2000 screens the world over. The frenzied fans are sitting through the night at the cinemas to get their ticket for the morning show, all over Tamilnadu.
Rajini, called affectionately the Super Star by his fans are exhilarated that his films have been sensation after sensation, the past three years. His last film Sivaji – The Boss created such sensation that the fans were thrilled that another smashing hit followed. The Rs. 162-crore budget Endhiran was directed by the redoubtable Sankar who has so far not produced a single flop. His earlier film Chandramukhi was an astounding hit all over the country.
With Endhiran being another resounding hit, there is no stopping of the ecstasy of Rajani’s fans. They paid seven to times he price of the ticket in the black market and were proud to say it.
In Mumbai, there was equal excitement at the Aurora theatre where his poster was bathed in milk and worshiped.
The movie even had Rajinikanth's daughters, Soundarya and Aishwarya, awestruck with their father's new film as they fearlessly shouted, "Endhiran Rocks" and "We love you Pa!" Industry Pundits say that Robo is going to smash all previous records in collections.
