Treating Cancer by the Use of Light and Sound

The therapies

Sono-photo dynamic therapy is actually two therapies. Sonodynamic and photodynamic.

Photodynamic therapy or PTD for short, means in easy terms stimulated by light. The element in which becomes stimulated is referred to as the sensitizer. At the Hope4Cancer Institute they use photodynamic therapy in two ways. The first one is systemically in which treats the whole body. Semi-locally in which treats a major size are of the body. This is done in combination with surgery and radiation therapies in which as they put it is essential. The surgeon removes a single tumor or lump and the radiation therapists treats a small area of the body. These types of therapies cause too much damage to the body.

Sonodynamic therapy or SDT for short. SDT is a lot like PTD with exception to the sensitizer which is stimulated by sound instead of light. SDT is listed as a semi-locally therapy.

These therapies have far more effectiveness when combined together than on their own merits. Hope4Cancer extensively treat the area where is or most likely will be with semi-locally SDT or PTD therapies. Where ever the cancer may turn up is where they treat. SDT usually is best with deep tumors due to the fact the human body can send sound far better than light. There is research evidence which does indicate that both therapies together have a greater effectiveness.

Aspects of PTD and SDT

Three things are needed before it can work.

A sensitizer which is distinctly consumed by cancer cells and is quickly cleared away from healthy cells.

Energy source (light or sound) to stimulate the sensitizer.

Oxygen which responds with the stimulated sensitizer to produce free radicals within the cancer cells.

Energy used

Hope4Cancer uses the following sources for energy:

Light treatment bed which has full spectrum light that brightens the entire body.

A laser instrument with a certain frequency and force which is placed directly over the areas with are affected.

Ultra sound device which produces low intense ultra sound energy.

SP-Active becomes affixed to all types of cancer cells within the body. However, the SP-Active also affixes itself to healthy cells. When a 24 hour period is allowed to pass then the therapy extracts its self from healthy cells. SP-Activate is stimulated by light, sound and lasers. Its most efficiency is against cancers such as prostate, breast and skin. Due to the fact these are easily in the range of the light, sound and lasers. When used with hyperthermia, the use of sono-photo dynamic therapy has proved to be very effective against ample deep tumors like ovarian cancers. It also displays great effectiveness against small tumors like metastases. Hope4Cancer is now using it for liver and lung metastases.

After surgically removing uterine and bowl tumors SP-Activate is effective to remove the rest of the metastases. The heavier types of cancers need the whole body treatment.

The improvements in the cancers are measured by an independent mechanical like scans and sonograms. The condition of the patient such as energy and weight gain and zest for life are also considered.

SP-Activate is not an alternative treatment but another means for a conventional treatment it is not recognized in all countries nor is it in the United States.

Hope4Cancer Institute

The Hope4Cancer Institute is located in Mexico. They have nationwide research facilities, technologies and treatments to help aide in overcoming cancer. They have a vast assortment in treatments to treat all kinds of cancer. If your cancer is not in the area of breast, prostate or skin or is diagnosed as advanced case in those types of cancers, you could be delegated to visit Hope4Cancer for your treatment.

Hope4Cancer offers non-toxic therapies and products from the all over the world in order to treat and prevent cancer.

The Indiana Center for Advanced Medicine (ICAM)

ICAM is in Indianapolis medical park which is always where the Indiana Heart Institute, Indiana Neuroscience Institute and St. Vincent's Heart Center is also located. ICAM also has full capabilities to provide SPDT treatments to those patients with breast, prostate and skin cancers. SPDT is used in conjunction with Dr. Tony Jimenez's detoxification methods and have shown to have a high effectiveness rate in treating those cancers. However, if it is indicated that your cancer is more advanced with the possibility of metastasized, the medical staff may decide to visit the Mexico facility where there are more options besides SPTD.

The ICAM is strictly an outpatient clinic. Therefore, you will need to stay at a nearby hotel. They will help with reservations and travel arrangements. Treatments usually last for two weeks. It can be longer or shorter depending on your condition.

Currently there is more than 3000 articles on both SPTD and PTD.

Mayo Clinic

The Mayo Clinic offers PDT. They employ a photo-sensitizing medication along with red laser light to kill cancer cells.

There treatment is in two parts. In the first part, the medication is given intravenously. The medication becomes consumed by fast growing cancer cells. After two days, inserted into the body and through it is an endoscope, the physician shines a particular laser light upon the dead tissue. Due to the combined mix of the laser light and medication a reaction is produced which eliminates the targeted cells.

PDT can be redone and does not harm the healthy tissues in the body. PDT can be used as a treatment by its self or with other treatments such as chemotherapy.

PDT is used in treatment of the following conditions:

Barrett's esophagus

Adenocarcinoma and Squamous cell carcinoma

Obstructing esophageal cancer

Gastric and lung cancer

Macular degeneration

Two major side effects of PDT:

Localized swelling or inflammation in or around the esophagus, which can produce chest discomfort, nausea, fever and constipation. These most of the time are controlled with pain relievers and medications.

Photo-sensitivity which always happens after PTD. It last for about four weeks. Upon the patient being injected with photo-sensitizing medications, the skin and eyes become highly sensitive to bright light. Patient must avoid exposure to bright light or direct sunlight to prevent sunburn, redness and swelling. Photo-sensitivity reactions can happen in a matter of a few minutes. Therefore, it is vital to take the necessary precautions to shield the skin and eyes from the light exposure.

The Mayo Clinic is one of the most immense integrated non-profit in the world. The Mayo Clinic Cancer Center serves all types of patient population and employs the most distinguished physicians and scientists. It leads all others in the area of cancer research to prevent, detect and treat.

The Mayo Clinic houses three locations:

Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale Arizona

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota
