Ecuador's President Rafael Correa

President Correa almost didn't live to tell about the latest Coup D'etat. The media says that he was told by his advisers to go out and try to negotiate with his aggressors...wrong move...he seems to have gotten an aggressive response from them. Word says he even took a bullet in the leg before calm was restored. More amazing than watching this on live TV and following Susanamorg via Twitter, while she hid in the presidential bathroom, while Tweeting the whole time, was that the US and ALL Latin American countries backed Correa by denouncing the aggressors. Now, this is shocking!!!

Is democracy ruling now even if it's a left-wing government...I hope so...

I'm happy to hear and read about another planet that might hold life because it would mean that we are ready, by media (government, religious and social) standards, to receive the news of other forms of life in our universe (our!?).

I am very impressed with Correa's immediate reaction: "If cornered, challenge..." Sun Tzu. It worked. They got pissed off and acted emotionally...they lost!

What a wonderful world we live in...

That's why I always look at what's around me every morning and give thanks for the beautifulness: I don't care who invented it; it's beautiful and I am thankful of not only living in it but of also noticing it, regardless of my minuscule day-to-day problems...
