TFG marines to start ant-pirate operations in Somalia

TFG soldiers vacated their positions without a fight, the Ugandan force commander in Mogadishu said

MOGADISHU – The marine forces department of the transitional government of Somalia have said that they would start operations against the pirates and end pirate activities in the Somali coasts, official said on Sunday.

Admiral Farah Qare, the commander of the marines of the transitional government of Somalia said that they had trained more young men for the protection the foreign, aid and commercial ships traveling in the coasts of the Somalia and far areas around the seas.

The officials said they would end Somali pirates accustom of hijacking ships and crews.

Farah said that they would begin their operations for the coming months asserting they would directly fight with the Somali pirates in the coasts pointing out that would also start a crack down activities very soon as possible.

“What we are waiting is only the order of the government and boats to start our operations. We shall also keep the resources of the seas and coasts,” said Admiral Farah Qare

The commander lastly said that they had had a promise adding that they would form training camps for the marines of Somalia in every place in the country to protect the boasts and ships eliminating the resources of Somalia.

The statement comes as there are more foreign ships, boats that continue illegally fishing in the coasts of Somalia and reportedly pour poisonous materials into the coasts after taking whole things from the seas.
