Albeit the last wife of the 50's hit teen singer Connie Stevens was indeed the woman that Eddie Fisher had been married to for the longest time out of his three marriages. The reports of Eddie Fisher having passed away have now saturated online news sources and a lot of people are feeling bad for his wife Connie Stevens.

Eddie Fisher passed away on Wednesday night from complications in his hip surgery. Eddie was in his Berkley home when he passed away. Connie Stevens was the third and last wife of the pre-rock n roll star who sold millions of copies worldwide. Unfortunately his fame would only last him a decade as in the 60's he reverted more to a private lifestyle.

Before being married to Connie Stevens Eddie left his first wife to marry the actress Elizabeth Taylor who played Cleopatra in the movie. Taylor had abandoned Eddie for Richard Burton and then it was some time after that that Eddie married Connie Stevens. Eddie's first ever step towards fame came when he won a radio singing competition at the age of 13. Since then he had been active in pursuing a singing career and managed to make it to many television shows and radio shows as the star guest. The news is indeed a grave one for the music industry and we all pray that Connie Stevens manages to overcome this loss with a minimum amount of suffering.
