Looking to escape the eyes of closed circuit TV, and anxious police officers, hoping to spot the next homegrown suicide bomber? Go no further than the British farming community of Wiltshire, where alien spaceships land unseen by any manner of modern surveillance equipment such as video cameras and radar.
According to an article in Friday's Telegraph, Wiltshire is the home of the "most complex, 'mind blogging' crop circle to ever be found in the UK. Measuring 150 ft in diameter, the formation is supposed to be a message, written in code, standing in for the first 10 digits, 3.141592654, of pi.
What this crop circle is meant to communicate is something that nobody can figure out. Except perhaps, aliens. British astrophysicists are in uproar over the event, almost certain that it confirms the existence of alien life forms. Why the government hasn't questioned the possibility that this might be the work of Al Qaeda remains open for question.
After all, aren't aliens simply projections of our fear of foreigners? Given how many of them are better at math than the British are, in all likelihood, Wiltshire's crop circle is simply a monument to the achievements of hardworking Asian immigrants, whose breakthroughs in the sciences and physics have been enshrined in a field full of barley.
